Sidama
Sidama Zone, a large and varied coffee region at elevations from ~1,500 to 2,200 m, offers both washed and natural processed lots. Washed Sidama coffees are known for crisp citrus acidity, floral and bergamot aromatics, smooth body, and clean finishes, often described as cane syrup and lavender lemonade. Natural Sidama showcases lush fruit character—strawberry, starfruit, tropical sweetness—with wine‑like complexity and fuller structure paired with floral and stone‑fruit tones.
From cooperative‑grown smallholdings across Sidama, coffees routinely yield a vivid berry‑forward fragrance, juicy texture, and a layered yet balanced experience. Descriptors such as blueberry, raspberry, chocolate ganache, lemongrass, and cane sugar reflect its diversity. These coffees are reliable, expressive, and versatile, offering strong acidity and sweetness in naturals, or refined brightness and floral clarity in washed styles.
